  8.  This is a reworked and recompiled version of an uuencode/uudecode
  9.  program I once found on an old Fish (AmigaLib) disk. Can't remember,
  10.  which one it was, but it had been part of a UUCP package.

  12.  Since, back in 1994, I could not find an other compiled version anywhere,
  13.  I had to build my own. Because I'm using this tool occasionally, an
  14.  (optimized) update did seem to be useful, so I made a more
  15.  amiga-specific version with SAS/C 6.58 which - as a side-effect -
  16.  should be somewhat faster. Next step was a powerUP (TM) version.

  18.  Maybe these two programs can be useful for someone else, too.
